Service/Solution Sales - Head of Messaging (SMS)
Salary: Uncapped Earning Potential. OTE £110k+
Location: UK or Europe.

With txtNation’s fast growth and expansion in messaging we are looking to bring in a high calibre person to Head our Messaging and help grow this product line.

You will have access to the latest technical base and infrastructure to bring on clients to facilitate your role as Head of Messaging.
- Vast experience in the EU for SMS messaging.
- Understand txtNation current messaging rates and market availability, to leverage current rates into our plan where possible.
- Identify and close deals, delivering revenues against the messaging plan.
- Work with txtNation on messaging SLA’s and contracts (where and if required).
- Analyse, negotiate rates and contracts from upstream connectivity i.e. networks.
- Work within target margins where possible set forward in the plan.
- Negotiate rates and contracts from local networks.
- Work according to the Team’s Strategy, successfully generating leads and signing on clients to use our range of API’s, primary focus on HTTP and SMPP.
- Developing existing network and pipeline. An existing network of contacts and relationships in sectors using messaging such as retail, online commerce, finance, digital entertainment and mobile would be advantageous.
- Constantly grow and maintain a healthy New Business pipeline, supporting you with our account managers.
- Devise new sales strategies and other original approaches that make the sales process more efficient for the client and the team as a whole.
- Drive company growth by meeting and aggressively exceeding targets set forward in the plan.
- Prioritise and deliver the best possible customer experience to both key accounts and smaller ‘self-service’ users, without compromise.
- Build lasting relationships with key decision makers in your target accounts.
- Provide a consultative, solution oriented sales approach over the full delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure that RFPs are responded to in a planned and timely manner.
- Attend and coordinate going to events in the target Regions.
- Conduct regular, region-specific research and market analysis.
- Work to improve and evolve our on-line knowledgeable for Messaging.
- Present at board meetings as board member.
- Management; Build messaging team over period of the plan, i.e. your trading and sales team.
- Reporting to CEO.
Alongside your drive for exceeding targets, as the Head of Messaging you should also have strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. Domestic and global travel will be required, representing txtNation at industry events and client meetings.
